okay, so in school, we gotta do group projects, and they're not individual grades, everyone in the group gets the same grade.
we've had 4 projects this year, and two of them, i was stuck with this girl that does not carry her weight... she was an in school only type friend... like we werent really good friends, i never talked much personal with her.
anyway.. the one time, me and another friend let her be in our group, becuz she was going through a rough time, and it would be better for her to at least work with friends, and understand if she didnt carry her full weight. Thats one thing, but like we did all the research, the poster, the outline.. everything... she just came up with four lousy questions to ask the class. thats it. and it was obvious in the presentation that she didnt really know what she was doing.. she read right off the outline. no eye contact with the class.

second one i worked with her, we were assigned groups.. she agreed to take more work, but at first said "i'll do the questions again" and me and this other girl told her no.. we're splitting the work, everyone does a part of it, and you present what you research...
i had to tell her what she needed to research.... and what she needed to include, and she didnt even do all she was supposed to.... missed a whole section, that counted for at least three points of the grade, which, dropped us from a should have been easy A to a B.. not that a B is bad, but it was soooo easy.. if she woulda just done the research completely and took 5 more minutes, but no.... whatever.

then this project, i'm stuck with her again.. we chose our groups, but i was the last to sign up... its groups of five... and there was no where else to go.
so i'm stuck with this girl AGAIN. I'm reporting to Mrs. Shank if she doesnt pull her weight on this one...

on top of this, this girl is irresponsible and unorganized... she knows when nothing is due and asking everyone around her when this is due when is that due, whens this test... uh, we were given a calander... look at it, and everyone else knows this information.. why doesnt she?
the instructors have to help her find all of her papers in her binder.
she just always seems clueless, yet somehow, is a good test taker, and typically has good grades.
she's 30.... and i have to be her mother sometimes. i got tired of it a while ago, but now i feel like i have to mother her for a few days to help her do well on this project that is going towards my grade. i just turned 23...
i really shouldnt have to be her mother.
the youngest person in our class is 18, and she's one of the most mature people in our class... and it ranges all the way up through age 52, most of them being mid twenties i think.
