I thought of it yesterday and just finished writing it! Tell me what you think!
[City noises in the background]
Camera scans front view of Jesse's house
Then, inside the house, it shows Jesse walking into his bedroom (same bedroom as "It's Over") [beginning instrumental starts as he walks in] [Jesse pops in a DVD]
Verse One/Hook #1:
Jesse turns on the T.V. and it plays a montage of memories with Katie
Camera cuts back to Jesse, who is singing
Camera cuts back & forth shots of Jesse & the T.V. screen; showing Jesse smiling & singing
[Hook Starts] Camera zooms in on the T.V. & shoots back & forth shots of montage & Jesse
[Last line of hook] back to the montage; Jesse serenades Katie
Chorus:
Con't. to serenade Katie
Then, camera cuts back to Jesse who is sitting on the bed singing the rest of the chorus
Verse Two/Hook #2:
Shows scenes of Jesse's "Hollywood" life [at the 1st 10 words of 2nd Verse: "What good are money and clothes and million dollar homes]
Cuts to the montage showing Jesse & Katie together & she disappears [last line of 2nd Verse: "If I ain't got you around"]
[Partial rest of the 2nd Verse: " 'Cause see the thought of you gone…tears start rolling down"] Then it cuts to Jesse on his tour bus watching the same montage; tears rolling down his face [singing/fighting back more incoming tears]
Cuts to show full Jesse solo [Rest of V2: Let me kiss…]
[Hook starts] Bus stops at a venue & Jesse gets off & waves to the fans waiting outside as security guards escort him in
Chorus:
Cuts to Jesse singing on stage
He looks down to see Katie, but she's with someone else (Sasha Vujačić of L.A. Lakers)
He pulls Katie up on stage & serenades her w/ rest of chorus
Acting Break:
[Music Stops] Camera cuts to a scene of Jesse backstage w/ Sasha & Katie
[Jesse, Katie, & Sasha all laughing]
Sasha: Dude, your concert was awesome!
Katie: Well, that's Jesse. [Katie smiles & pats Jesse on the back] Never fails to deliver!
Jesse: I mess up sometimes, come on! [Jesse jokes, sipping his bottled water]
Katie: He's only being modest, right?
Jesse: [Shrugs] Hey, Sasha! I am a HUGE Lakers fan. I never miss a game.
Sasha: Thanks, man. If you ever have time, I can hook you up for the next game. You in?
Jesse: Sure! Thanks, man!
Sasha: No problem! [Sasha's manager calls him so he can take pictures & sign autographs w/ his fans that recognized him] Oh, excuse me.
[Jesse & Katie are left alone now]
Jesse: Sasha seems like a nice guy…and not to mention lucky.
Katie: Thanks, Jess. But I miss us to sometimes. [Holds his hand]
Jesse: Me too.
[Light goes out & Jesse & Katie look around frantically]
[Some masked man holding a knife grabs Katie from behind; hand over her mouth, knife to her neck]
Jesse: Whoa, dude! Don't hurt her!
Masked Man: [muffled voice] It wasn't her I'm after. [Throws her down & begins to walk over to Jesse]
Katie: NO! STOP! Get away from him! [Masked Man lunges toward Jesse; Jesse grabs both of the man's hands]
Jesse: Katie get out of here! Got to Sasha! Get out of here! I'll be fine, I'll hold him off! [Jesse is on top of the Masked Man's back; holding down his hands]
[Katie runs out & the MM breaks out of JMAC's hold & they both stand up]
Jesse: Who are you!?
MM: You wouldn't believe me if I told you, trust me. [Lunges again but gets blocked]
[MM keep lunging; Jesse fails to block him this time; knife stabs him near his left hip]
[MM extracts knife & takes off his mask to reveal himself] [Jesse's on the floor staring up at himself; the masked man] [MM kneels down to his wounded other]
Jesse: Why'd you do that? [Gasping, fighting pain]
Jesse #2: She moved on, Jess. There's nothing left to live for.
Jesse: I'm happy for her. [Still gasping & wincing as the pain grows]
Jesse #2: Your head's telling you that. What's your heart saying?
Jesse: I need her, so much it hurts. [Jesse #2 runs off] Camera cuts to a distraught Katie running to Sasha
Sasha: What is it? What's wrong?
Katie: It's Jesse, he's in trouble! [Camera shows them back inside the room w/ the lights back on]
Katie: [Kneeling down next to Jesse, applying pressure onto the wound w/ a towel] Jesse, [holds his hand] stay with me, okay. Call 9-1-1 Sasha!
Sasha: [On the phone] Already on it!
Katie: Sasha's getting help, okay. Everything's going to be fine.
Jesse: Katie… [Pushing to stay conscious, but his eyes blink & slowly close; grip on Katie's hand loosens]
Katie: JESSE!
Bridge:
[Music returns; 1st half of bridge starts: "one second without you… Without you I couldn't live"] Camera show shots of doctors trying to revive Jesse & then shows Jesse flat lining
Cuts to Katie who is now crying into Sasha's chest
Camera now showing the entrance to the hospital, shows a shot of (Ghost) Jesse & a shot of Katie & Sasha's backs
Jesse walks away [Last half of bridge plays: "Oh who oh who oh who u huh [x2]"]
Chorus:
[Starts at high note: "Uh-huh"] Montage starts to rewind & comes to a stop
Montage Jesse looks around for Katie again
Camera cuts back & forth between shots of Katie sitting in front of a mirror getting ready for the funeral to her pulling up to the church
[at "Girl you are my oxygen yeah…"] Katie walks down the isle w/ Sasha & they stop at Jesse's coffin
Cuts to a shot of Jesse inside the coffin to Katie looking down at him
Then it cuts to the burial scene & Katie is the only one left alone in front of his tombstone
[at "Oxygen oh who Oxygen oh who Oxygen oh who ah huh [x2]"] (Ghost) Jesse approaches Katie and leans in to kiss her
They look straight into each other's eyes & camera cuts to a close up of Jesse's face; he mouths, "I love you"
[at "I can't breathe [x2]"] Jesse walks away [song begins to fade & so does Jesse]
Sasha is now standing w/ Katie
Sasha: You okay?
Katie: [Stares into the direction Jesse disappeared] I'm okay. [They walk away]
Cuts back to the montage & it stop at a picture of Jesse, Katie, & Maddox (the dog) on the beach:
