THe American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers

It's where songwriter's register their songs so that they will get credit for the song if anyone records it. Every year the ASCAPs have an award show for the songwriters that had great songs that year and the honor 1 or 2 classic/legendary songwriters and what not. The show is generally untelevised. But it takes place tonight and this is confirming that Jesse is attending the after party. Also, just in case you haven't heard, Jesse is nominated with Ryan Tedder for "Bleeding Love".

To me, he's always been great and successful but now, it's an even greater deal.

I know! I really hope in the next couple decades he can really truely make a name of himself and even be considered like one of those great "legend" type artists. You know what I mean? Jesse truely is amazing and I think songwriting is the best thing he could get into, especially now since he's so young and is at the top of his career right now.

Yea, hopefully it will. I'm just so ecstatic about it! This year is just going to be so great for him! Definitely going to be his BEST yet! (Already is actually!) Can't wait!!

Another article about Jesse's and Ryan's win tonight. Also, has a pic of Jesse performing, from what I understand from the article, tonight at the show. But I could be wrong about that part.

McCartney notes, "Being recognized by ASCAP is a great honor as a songwriter, and I am very grateful for this award. The success of this song would not have been possible without Leona's stunning vocals and amazing approach."

OH it's Dory! you guys remember the first time Jesse performed Leavin in a Christmas party or something with Dory? I like that version of Leavin very much. Definitely miss the old days.

Here's another video of an interview from the red carpet of the ASCAPs. He talks a little about working with TPain, but from the last answer, it sounds kinda as if they haven't started to record it yet, but I couldn't really make out the questions, so it could be about something else, like working with Jordin on her new album or something.
