I don't know, I don't have 8. From what I've seen, the difference on 9 is: things that were on 8 were removed and more things were added.
I think I might try 8 or Windows Movie Maker.

Lol probably because it comes with most windows computers. I don't think it offers many things to do besides your basics. but maybe i just don't know how to use it?
It seems like people who have the Sony Vegas programs have really awesome videos. I don't think i could do any of the things people do on that program in windows..Or maybe i'm stupid, but i'm pretty sure you can't. lol

uhmm well, Windows Movie Maker, as emily said, sucks..... It hasn't many effects and... It's easy to use. Sony Vegas is WAAAY BETTER! I always made my vids with the Movie Maker, but they weren't that good... The Video, I posted, was my fist try with it and I really, really, really love to use Sony. It has a lot of effects. okay, It's not as easy as the Movie Maker but whatever^^ I love my dad for buying this
